Days & Hours

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, primarily after school and on weekends, to accommodate school age participant’s schedules. The schedule may vary depending on the season and the number of lessons scheduled.

Job Requirements

– Plan and conduct tennis lessons for grade-school-age children, focusing on skill development and enjoyment of the game.

– Teach proper tennis techniques, including serving, forehand, backhand, and court positioning.

– Create fun and engaging activities to keep children interested and motivated.

– Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.

– Monitor and assess the progress of each student.

– Communicate effectively with parents or guardians to provide updates on students’ progress and any necessary information.

– Set up and maintain tennis equipment as needed.

– Attend training sessions and meetings as required.

Qualifications

– Previous experience as a tennis instructor, preferably with kids.

– Strong knowledge of tennis techniques and rules.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Patient, enthusiastic, and able to motivate young learners.

– Dependable and punctual.

– Must be available for after-school and weekend lessons.

– CPR and first-aid certification is a plus.
